Research Abstract |
We successfully developed novel DNA methylation analysis method. Our method elongates single DNA by flow or nanospace in the microfluidic device and detect methylation site with methylation point specific quantum-dots. Therefore, we need no troublesome procedures like PCR and can identify the location of methylation site as well as can detect methylation in single molecule level, which cannot attain by current methylation analysis method. These advantages would permit our method to be applied for medical diagnosis.
