| Research Abstract |
This research project successfully developed several collective intelligence mechanisms for enhancing the competitiveness of a manufacturing system. Each of the mechanismsprovides an effective and efficient approach for producing valuable information or kno wledge, i.e., knowledge asset, through aggregating and integrating dispersed knowledge or intellectual capability from multiple stakeholders. The output knowledge asset can be a demand forecast, a delivery route, etc.
