Research Abstract |
We investigated the electronic properties of the vanadium oxide to test its possibility for unusual half-metal, which is expected highly useful for practical applications. In addition, we searched for a compound which has a similar electronic state with what the vanadium oxide has. We found thus far the post-perovskite rhodium oxide likely has the state. Further studies may judge the possibilities.
