Research Abstract |
Bio-tar, generated at lower temperature in pyrolysis of biomass, was successfully recovered in the form of deposited carbon using low grade iron ore. The carbon-containing, pre-reduced iron ore can be excellent raw material for ironmaking. This method appealed a possibility to solve problems of energy, resource and environment.
