Research Abstract |
We conducted a constructive approach to the fundamental aspects of the origin of language from an emergence perspective. Evolutionary simulations showed that communication could emerge under the restricted conditions, learning could play an important role in the evolution of communication levels, and population structure could accelerate language evolution by making altruistic speakers adaptive.
