Research Abstract |
Neuronal activity regulates synaptic functions. We considered that phosphorylation of a ribosomal protein (RPS19) might regulate the ribosomal functions. Our present results strongly suggest that CaM kinase I phosphorylates RPS19 and regulates the ribosomal formations in synapse in a neuronal activity-dependent manner.
