Research Abstract |
In order to elucidate microarchitectural change in human vertebral bone, the subtraction method is developed and consecutive clinical computed tomography scans were evaluated. Our results indicate osteoporosis patients can lose a substantial amount of bone especially in trabecular compartment over a relatively short period of time, and this loss can be prevented by medical intervention.
