Research Abstract |
This study indicates that EPG therapy may be effective for improving tongue movement and speech function with oral cancer. The patients with oral cancer had sensory disturbance in oral cavity, they cannot have feedback by tactile in motor. By using EPG system, they recognize visually tongue movement as compensation. This is not to be able to acquire it by traditional methods.
