| Research Abstract |
In order to develop a novel analytical method for global environmental change, determination of maleimides in sedimentary rocks as well as simulation experiments of diagenesis of sedimentary porphyrins were perfpormed. In these studies, three new thermal maturity indices of sedimentary organic material have been established. Further, formation mechanisms of sedimentary porphyrins with extended side chains and benzoporphyrins have been elucidated.
