Research Abstract |
This research intends to improve the neuro-dynamic programming algorithm SBMPIM (simulation-based modified policy iteration method) which has been developed by the researcher for solving an optimal stochastic control problem of a practical just-in-time supply chain. A combination of the SBMPIM and the optimized kanban system has yielded an improved SBMPIM with centesimal computation time.
