Research Abstract |
We created textbook materials and assessment measures to help prospective English teachers develop necessary English oral communicative skills. Based upon our experiments at 15 Japanese universities, our materials helped our participants significantly improve their English oral communicative skills. However, the importance of face-to-face meetings among the participating instructors and of autonomous learning styles was also found.
