Research Abstract |
During the three-year Kakenhi grant period, I published five papers and made five conference presentations regarding the above described research subject. My papers and presentations explored a number of topics which, despite their historical significance, had never or seldom been investigated before. In this research project, I tried to articulate the overall position of Fenollosa's art philosophy in relation to his contemporary Anglo-American world.
