Research Abstract |
It was suggested that Eusebius' Vita Constantini, generally used as a basis for the study in the Constantinian dynasty, might be a forgery of the Theodosian period ; thus, the religious policy of the 4^<th> century should be interpreted as being motivated mainly by secular considerations.
