Research Abstract |
This study is based on an ethnography of associations of Yapese migrants in Pohnpei, FSM, and Guam, USA. The study reports that ethnic identities, leadership and social alliance are generated through activities of the associations, especially through fund raising, in Yapese deterritorialized public sphere.
