Research Abstract |
This study focused on highly growing developing countries, in particular India, comparing with China, and investigated the dynamics of "urban poverty" for its causes, features, time-series dynamics, locational differentials, policy response, and impacts from both qualitative and quantitative aspects. It turns out that the "urbanization of poverty" has been recognized as a serious social problem.
