Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to examine the psychological effects of the trauma narratives to the supporter / researcher. I did the interview to supporters of DV(domestic violence) victims, analysis of psychotherapy process, and self-reflection of crime victim assistance. The psychological effects of the trauma narratives are some tension, helplessness, guilt, and fluctuation. However, attention to the sense of distance between the narrators, ties with the fellow in DV consultation, the "power to narrate" and "the power of the story" in psychotherapy, the importance of research support a listener of harsh experience.
