Research Abstract

For a participant, who would find difficulty with 2AFC task, 3AFC task has been proposed. But I pointed out theoretical problems of 3AFC task, and did experiments on 4AFC task to investigate these problems. The results showed that estimation of PSE by 3AFC task is doubtful and 3AFC task should not be used.
