Research Abstract |
A newly designed red thermoluminescence dating equipment was developed in order to detect TL signals from a single grain. A highly resolution of TL reader enabled to determine an age of a single quartz grain. The tested ages obtained from Toya pyroclastic flow agreed well with the expected ages.
