Research Abstract |
We identified EWS-WT1(KTS+) fusion gene as a novel therapeutic target in desmoplastic small round cell tumor. Furthermore, exogenous expression of EWS-WT1(KTS+) in HeLa cells resulted in the acquisition of epithelial characteristics as evidenced by E-cadherin and β-catenin expression. Identification of p53 mutation in giant-cell tumor of bone might be a molecular pathological marker for malignant transformation of this tumor.
