Research Abstract

Me senchymal stem cells (MSC) have been considered as good candidate as cell source in regenerative medicine. On the other hand, it is reported that Wnt protein can affect cartilage differentiation of those cells. This study clearly demonstrated that supplementation of Wnt5a protein enhanced cartilage differentiation of MSC in three-dimensional culture system.
