Research Abstract |
The information needs in young breast cancer patients were investigated by focus group discussion. Multidimensional information was required from young breast cancer patients. Unmet information needs and quality of life in young breast cancer patients were surveyed using with structured questionnaire. The highest unmet information need was identified overall communication with medical professionals. The information of side effects by hormonal therapy which was specific information in young patients had related with quality of life. The information about hot flashes resulting from hormonal therapy was exposed through the original home page.
