Research Abstract |
Parent Training (PT) for AD/HD children had been proved useful for individual support. However conventional PT for AD/HD has some difficulties for applying in a classroom of school. We newly developed PT for children's communal life (i.e. elementally school). Newly-developed PT significantly improved behaviors of not only an AD/HD child but also his classmates over all. In addition, PT for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) is also developed from PT for children's communal life. PT for autistic children significantly improved behaviors of these children. These newly developed PTs significantly improved the well-being (Subjective Well-Being Inventory [SUBI]) of parents, teachers and supporters concerned with AD/HD or PDD children.
