Research Abstract |
This research project has worked on various tactile technologies for rendering human skin feelings. Various tactile technologies have been so far developed, but they are not enough for rendering human skin. In this project, stickiness sensation and wet sensation have been studied as essential sensations to compose human skin feelings. Also, the project has studies rendering of irregular softness feelings. The project developed several prototype tactile displays to render those tactile feelings.
