Research Abstract |
We have achieved a very narrow band and strong thermal radiation peak in a design wavelength by using intersubband transitions in quantum wells and two-dimensional photonic crystals. The fabricated device shows twice the spectral peak intensity of the reference blackbody sample under the same input power condition.
