Research Abstract |
The following major progresses were either published or submitted for publication. 1. We developed a new minimally invasive method for image-guided surgery. 2. We developed a system that acquires location log of surgical drill during the image-guided surgery. This data could be used to produce a virtual intraoperative CT. 3. We developed a refined method of our method described above to improve registration accuracy in deep region in the temporal bone.
