Research Abstract

Saccadic eye movement was considered as a ballistic movement, which is not controlled during its movement. However, in the current research, we showed that saccades are precisely controlled during its movement using visual information from visual cortex. The result will help to understand higher order cognitive functions which often modulate saccadic eye movement.
