Research Abstract |
This research has explored the influence of the various Victorian publishing formats mainly on Anthony Trollope's serial novels. By analyzing not only the novels but also the autograph manuscripts and the working diaries, it turned out that Trollope successfully adapted himself to the publishing system and established his own writing style.
