| Research Abstract |
(1)袁世凱帝制をめぐる日本・米国・中国の主な知識人の論争の相関関係と、その初歩的な見取り図の提示を可能とした。(2)上記の分析を通じて得られた当時の日米中三カ国の研究者らによる中国政治論と、今日の中国政治・政治体制論との間にみられる、歴史的に共有された認識枠組みを解明した。これについては、政治的支配と「民主」の問題をめぐる、近現代中国の歴史的連続性として捉えることができる。
