Research Abstract

当該研究期間中に、(1)ヒュームのマナーズ概念が、彼の社会思想・政治思想・経済思想の根底を支えており、なおかつマナーズを規定する要因が唯一の原因に還元できないこと、(2)同時代の他の思想家に比べ、より社会科学的・客観的なマナーズ概念がヒュームの中に見られることを明らかにした。なお、具体的な研究成果としては、国際学会報告を2回(アイスランドと英国)おこない、国際学会誌への論文を1本発表した。
