Research Abstract |
This study aims to appear how subculture function for local community participation. Through this ethnographical research on rokkunrooru, some kind of street performance, I show that this subcultural network enhances social ties in their live circle, functions as social and voluntary safety net and makes the members associate with other people. Consequently subculture and its network promote local community participation.
