Research Abstract |
We study decoherence and its suppression processes for a relevant spin (qubit) system surrounded by a stochastic environment, which is represented by a two-state jump Markov process and a Gauss-Markov process. Using the methods of non -equilibrium statistical physics, we obtain exactly the reduced density matrices and characteristic functions for a relevant system.
