Research Abstract |
Design and development of new two-photon absorption dyes were performed. Two-photon absorption efficiency was improved by connecting porphyrin and a pi-conjugation dye using triple bond. For example, two-photon absorption efficiency was improved by three orders by introducing phenanthrolin as the pi-conjugation dye. Furthermore, the efficiency was also improved by introducing electron acceptor.
