Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists (B)
Component technologies of 2.7-μm-band high-power ultra-short pulse fiber lasers with erbium doped fluoride grass fibers have been developed. An ultra-short pulse laser oscillator and basic technologies of high-power laser amplifiers have been demonstrated. As a result, the infrared laser technology has been advanced.
