Research Abstract |
In this subject, static and dynamic characteristics of aerostatic bearings used for small sized spindle were investigated numerically and experimentally. Furthermore, the rotational accuracy of an aerostatic spindle when the squareness of a thrust collar is varied was investigated numerically.
