Research Abstract

本研究では、大容量光通信技術への寄与を目指して、外部光源を用いることなく2つの光信号の光波長を入れ替える「周波数スワッピング」がrf信号により駆動されたニオブ酸リチウム光デバイスにより実現できることを理論・実験の両面から示した。また多値の単側波帯光変調において、光変調信号を生成する光変調器の構成要素である光分岐導波路の分岐比の非対称性が不要成分抑圧比の増大に有効であることを数値解析により示した。
