Research Abstract |
A new boundary fitting method which employs the Quad-tree grid system was developed for meandering processes in natural river. The boundary fitting method was apply to reproduce flow patterns in a flume and natural river, computation result agree with the observed result well. In another numerical experiments, the result shows that channel plane form affects to formation process of sandbars greatly.
