Research Abstract |
This study proposes a dynamic traffic assignment model that includes a demand model. Dynamic traffic assignment models, which aim to evaluate road networks, use precise data on travellers' demand, although they are not easy to be obtained. This study proposes a dynamic traffic assignment model where traffic flows are discretised and a demand model considering social networks. These models and the combined model are theoretically investigated.
