Research Abstract |
In this study, we investigated temperature dependent elastic constants and piezoelectric coefficients of advanced ceramics and metallic materials by using resonance ultrasound spectroscopy. Experimental results are analyzed within a framework of group theoretical lattice dynamics perturbation approach. Some experimental results, obtained from C12A7, alpha-iron single crystal and bulk metallic glasses, have been published in international journals.
