Research Abstract |
A solid electrolyte/metal electrode/conducting polymer and a metal electrode/conducting polymer/metal electrode microstructures were fabricated bylaser micro-machining and electrochemical techniques. The three-layer microstructures were obtained by removal from an aluminum substrate after patterning of these layers on the aluminum. The structures bent just after polarization, and these structures can be used as an actuator.
