Research Abstract

The radiation detection system using VUV scintillator combined with the micro-strip gas chamber was investigated to achieve a low cost and high resolution detector for high energy X/gamma ray. A detection system was constructed using CsI as photo-cathode material, and a significant signal was observed with the system.
