Research Abstract |
We solved the crystal structure of Thermus thermophilus TrmFO, providing a structural basis for the folate/FAD-dependent methylation of tRNA U54. We also solved the crystal structure of Pyrocuccus horikoshii and Methanococcus jannaschii TYW2s, providing a structural basis for the S-adenosylmethionine-dependent transfer of the α-amino-α-carboxypropyl group into tRNA imG-14.
