Outline of Final Research Achievements

Protein-tagged human APOBEC3G and HIV-1 Vif were prepared using an expression system of E. coli. The APOBEC3G had deamination activity and the Vif inhibited it in a dose-dependent manner in vitro. The proteins were purified and used for crystallization screening.
