Research Abstract |
Lateral migration of adaxial cell-derived slow muscle cells is crucial in fish myogenesis. However, detailed molecular mechanisms responsible for the migration are largely unknown. In this study, we established transgenic fish which expresses fluorescent protein in migrating and not migrating slow muscle cells. By using the transgenic fish, we revealed that distinct mechanisms are involved in gene expression specifically to migrating and not migrating slow muscle cells.
