Research Abstract |
Catalytic methods for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, such as indazoles, indoles, 2-quinolinones, benzo[b]thiophenes, and benzothiazoles, were developed utilizing palladium-catalyzed C-H functionalization followed by intramolecular C-N or C-S bond formation. These heterocyclic compounds are subunits of a range of biologically active pharmaceuticals and natural products.
