Research Abstract |
There are various protein secretion systems in pathogenic gram-negative bacteria. Recently, a novel protein secretion system, T6SS, has been reported. In this project, it has been found that V. parahaemolyticus has a T6SS. which can secrete and translocate a novel protein in T6SS-dependent manner. This protein secretion requires N-terminal region of a novel secreted protein.
