Research Abstract |
In RMS cell lines and RMS tumor samples, we were able to detect a methylation abnormality in the imprinting center, in other words, imprinting abnormalities in IGF2 and H19 by Melting Curve Analysis. In RMS tumor samples, it was suggested that imprinting abnormalities correlate with the expression of IGF2 mRNA. Furthermore, we established a method to detect imprinting abnormalities in IGF2 and H19 in serum DNA.
