Research Abstract |
We created a novel slow-release lidocaine sheet with polylactic-co-glycolic acid. Single sciatic nerve block with slow-release lidocaine inhibited hypersensitivity after paw incision. Spinal cord dorsal horn c-fos expression was consistent with the behavioral results. Slow-release local anesthetics are promising for management of postoperative pain.
