Research Abstract

We confirmed the anticancer effect of Noscapine to Renal cell carcinoma cell line and Prostate cancer cell line, they had been thought to be resistant to previous reported chemotherapy. Although IC50 to these cell lines need rather high concentration, still Noscapine was thought to be of great value as one of candidate for chemotherapy to renal cell carcinoma and prostate cancer patients, because there are several reports of safety of high dose Noscapine to human being.
