Research Abstract

The mechanism of cytokine secretion by IL-4 was investigated in cultured a human nasal polyp epithelial cells. The most secreted cytokine was RANTS, but eotaxin was not detected in our studies. Treatment of 100ng/ml IL-4 significantly increased RANTES secretion, and this activation was observed at 72 hours after treatment.
