Research Abstract |
A proteomic approach combined with western blotting was applied to detect multiple retinal autoantigens in endogenous uveitis. As results, Esterase D and brain type creatine kinase were defined as retinal autoantigens in endogenous uveitis, including Behcet's disease, sarcoidosis, and Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease. There was no disease specificity in the two newly defined autoantigens.
